College Library Launches Special Collections on Web
PLATTSBURGH, NY (January 30, 2008) - Feinberg Library is pleased to announce the launch of a new, enhanced Web presence for its Special Collections department, online at http://www.plattsburgh.edu/library/specialcollections .
Special Collections includes regional historical materials, which focus on the counties of Clinton, Essex, and Franklin in northern New York; the Adirondack and Champlain Valley regions; the SUNY Plattsburgh College Archives and College Thesis Collection; and the Rockwell Kent manuscript collection.
The new site provides convenient access to many of the library's collection guides, helpful services, and links to important resources.
Teaching faculty who are currently using Special Collections web resources in their classes are asked to update web links in their course materials. The URL for our P.O.L.A.R.I.S. database is unchanged.
For assistance, contact Debra Kimok, Special Collections librarian, at 518-564-5206 / e-mail [email protected]
