Bike Rental Program

This program allows SUNY Plattsburgh students to rent a bike for a day, free of charge. Bikes may be used for personal transportation or recreation. Bike trails are located on campus and a trail map is available.

The SUNY Plattsburgh Bike Rental Program is located at the Recreation Office on the third floor of Memorial Hall.

What Equipment Do We Have?

SUNY Plattsburgh Recreation Department has designed a state of the art bike storage room on the first floor of Memorial Hall complete with bike racks and size charts. Our fleet currently contains:

  • 20 mountain bikes
  • 20 locks
  • 20 helmets

The SUNY Plattsburgh Bike Rental Program rents out bicycles of three different sizes (small, medium and large) according to the renter's height. A bike lock with a set code will be given upon bike rental. The option of renting a helmet is available but not required.

To check on availability, please call 518-564-4159.
