First-Year Admissions Application

SUNY Free App Weeks — Oct. 20 through Nov. 3

Save money by applying to up to five SUNY schools with no application fee from Oct. 20 – Nov. 3. You can apply with the ApplySUNY application or through the Common App — no special code needed. To learn more and apply, visit suny.edu/apply.

How to Apply

First-year students have two options to apply online — the SUNY Application or the Common Application. Both applications are viewed equally by the admissions committee. Please be sure to complete only one of the two applications.

Dates & Deadlines

We are on rolling admission and do not have specific deadlines for submitting an application. However, first-year students are strongly encouraged to submit their applications by:

  • Dec 1. (fall semester)
  • Nov 1. (spring semester)

Application Process

Students who apply will need to do the following:

  • Complete the Common Application or SUNY Application
  • Pay the $50 application fee
  • Send an official high school transcript

First-year applicants should submit at least one teacher or counselor recommendation and an essay. SAT/ACT scores are not required, but applicants can opt to submit them for review.
