Vogl Joins Council of International Schools Board of Trustees
Jackie Vogl, associate vice president for global education, was named to the board of trustees of the Council for International Schools.
The Council of International Schools community includes 726 schools and 552 colleges and universities representing 112 countries. The council helps connect students and teachers to member international schools worldwide to provide international educational opportunities.
Vogl joined the staff at SUNY Plattsburgh in 1990 as an admissions adviser. After being named senior adviser in 2002, she was named assistant director of admissions in 2003.
In 2010, she was named assistant vice president for international enrollment management. Two years later, her title also included assistant vice president for global education. She took on directorship of international education as well in 2015.
Vogl travels worldwide in her roles as they relate to international admissions, international student and scholar services and study abroad and exchanges. She will be one of the first two higher education members in CIS history to serve as a trustee.
