Two Spring Open House Sessions Slated for April

The Office of Admissions will host two open house sessions in April for prospective students Saturday, April 7 and Saturday, April 21 on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus.

Schedules for both days include opening presentations and student panels in the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall after a 9:30-10 a.m. registration there. Students can learn all they can accomplish at SUNY Plattsburgh. Current students will share their experiences and answer questions.

Currently enrolled students will lead groups of visitors to breakout sessions led by faculty in various academic programs. These sessions will take place in various academic buildings on campus and include tours of the facilities.

Following the breakout sessions, visitors will gather at the Angell College Center to participate in an academic and student services fair.

Throughout the open house, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., current students will lead tours of campus with stops in residence halls, academic buildings dining facilities, the fitness center, library and the Angell College Center. Tours depart from Flynt Commons, second floor of Angell College Center, on a rotating basis.

Visitors may also take guided tours of the residence hall of their choice, selecting a range of options from first-year housing and suite-style to low-rise and high-rise buildings.
