SUNY Plattsburgh Podium Renovation Project Begins Aug. 3
The area of the walkway at SUNY Plattsburgh called the Podium, between Kehoe Administration Building, Feinberg Library, Yokum Lecture Hall and the Angell College Center, will have limited access beginning Aug. 3 while it undergoes renovation.
Visitors to campus, students, faculty and staff are requested to avoid the area from the Draper Avenue parking lot walkway to the Podium, the walkway between Yokum and Beaumont Hall, and the pedestrian bridge over Broad Street to Hudson Hall.
The second-floor doors at Hudson by the pedestrian bridge, and two sets of second-floor doors at Yokum will be signed and blocked off. However, the second-floor door to the lobby of Beaumont Hall will be fully accessible. During renovation, fewer parking spaces will be available in the Draper Street parking lot. Additional spaces will be secured elsewhere.
Work on the Podium is expected to continue through the fall and spring semesters. For more information, contact Rick Larche, capital project manager, at [email protected] or 518-564-5097.
