SUNY Plattsburgh Employees Donate Thousands to Charity
SUNY Plattsburgh has once again led the region’s efforts when it comes to the State Employees Federated Appeal.
Having raised a total of $48,942 this year, SUNY Plattsburgh continues to be the largest North Country contributor to this campaign, which allows state employees to donate to nonprofits through payroll deductions as well as through check and cash donations.
A total of 247 college employees gave to the campaign this year.
Campaign co-chairs Michael Cashman, Cherice Granger and Carol Bleaux said they are proud of the college’s on-going efforts.
“The SUNY Plattsburgh campaign is truly a community effort,” Cashman said. “Given the tough climate and turbulent times, it is inspiring to see our community coming together, year after year, for the greater needs of our region.”
