PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The Student Association at the State University of New York College
at Plattsburgh has introduced a new late night shuttle service for students.
"This service will allow the students to go to Wal-Mart, the mall to catch a late movie, or the downtown area," said Michael Cashman, SA president. "We're happy and excited to be able to offer this service to our students for a modest cost of $10 per semester."
The operating hours for the shuttle, which will have three different loops, will begin at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and will run until 3 a.m.
Loop 1 will run from 9 to 10:15 p.m. and include stops at the Angell College Center, Hood Hall, Champlain Centre South Mall and Wal-Mart.
Loop 2 will begin at 10:30 p.m. and run until 1:45 a.m. This route will include stops at the Angell College Center, Hood Hall, Wal-Mart, Durkee Street parking lot and Renaissance Village. The third loop, from 1:45 to 3 a.m., will include all the stops on Loop 2 with the exception of Wal-Mart.
