Rabin Memorial Golf Tournament Set for July 26
The 13th annual Mark Rabin Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by SUNY Plattsburgh’s School of Business and Economics, will be held Wednesday, July 26 at Harmony Golf Club and Community, 95 North St., Port Kent.
The four-person scramble tournament will have morning and afternoon flights, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start — golfers should arrive by 7:30 a.m. — and a 1 p.m. shotgun start, with participants arriving by 11:30 a.m. for a buffet lunch.
The tournament features prizes, including $5,000 for a hole-in-one on Hole No. 7, and the 35-foot Sledgehammer Putting Contest throughout the day.
A $49.99 fee includes 14 holes of golf and golf-cart rental, a lunch buffet, team prizes and more. The tournament is limited to the first 112 people — 28 teams — who sign up. Deadline to register is July 18. All proceeds benefit the Plattsburgh College Foundation and the Mark Rabin Memorial Scholarship Endowment.
