Public Relations Club Hosts Spring-cleaning Fundraiser

The SUNY Plattsburgh Public Relations Student Society of America chapter is holding a spring-cleaning fundraiser.

The chapter is asking Plattsburgh community members to clean out their closets and donate any gently-used professional attire, footwear and accessories. The chapter will sell the items at discount prices, in an effort to improve students’ professional wardrobes and raise funds to support other PRSSA efforts.

“It’s hard to shop for professional clothes when I’m a full-time student and all of my spare time is dedicated to studying. Being a broke college student is a reality my friends and I face,” said SUNY Plattsburgh senior Gregory Russell.

Community members can bring donations to Room 241, Ward Hall, on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus through Friday, April 11.

For more information, contact Kristen Suarez, PRSSA communication coordinator, 631-807-4958.

The Public Relations Student Society of America is the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications.
