Podium, Broad Street Bridge Work to be Wrapped Mid-fall
Work on the raised walkway, called the “podium,” on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus is expected to continue through mid to late October.
Phase I of the project is wrapping up with the installation of the snow melt system, reinforcement of the structure, installing railings, and creation of green spaces. The bridge that crosses Broad Street, which connects Beaumont Hall with Hudson Hall, will remain closed during the final work on Phase I of the podium and is expected to be opened in the same time frame of mid to late October.
