Military Friendly Designation Adds to List of Rankings, Distinctions
SUNY Plattsburgh has been again recognized as a premier college for veterans and military members, rated among Victory Media’s Military Friendly Schools for 2016.
The list honors universities and trade schools doing the most to support America’s military service members and ensure their success on campus.
Military Friendly, a division of Victory Media that compiles the rankings, praised SUNY Plattsburgh as “an excellent choice for military members because the college offers flexibility of class schedules, both online and residential courses, a variety of academic programs, both undergraduate and graduate level programs, dedicated faculty and staff, and student-centered approach to education.”
The listing calls the Plattsburgh Experience “unparalleled in higher education.”
“The college also continually supports students who are veterans, those on active-duty, those in the National Guard or reserves, and their families through the Veterans Support Office. This office and its coordinator strive to find ways in which to better serve and support all military-affiliated students.”
