Great Escape Day Trip Part of SA Summer Events Programming
The SUNY Plattsburgh Student Association, in partnership with the Global Education Office, is sponsoring a trip to the Great Escape Sunday, July 16 for students who have stayed in Plattsburgh over the summer.
According to Vrinda Arun Kumar, Student Association president, the trip — in addition to other activities planned throughout the summer months — is designed “to create opportunities for students to meet other students who are here and looking for things to do.”
Tickets are $25 and available at the Angell College Center desk during summer hours, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The bus leaves the college center at 9 a.m. July 16.
Other events scheduled so far include:
•The Gospel Choir Summer Fest at the Newman Center, 90 Broad St., Plattsburgh, Thursday, July 20 at 4 p.m.
•Ausable Chasm Day Trip, Sunday, July 23, departing the Angell College Center at 11 a.m. and returning at 8 p.m.
