Fall Admissions Open House Days Set for Oct. 22, Nov. 12
SUNY Plattsburgh will welcome prospective students to campus for fall 2022 open house days Saturday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 12 beginning at 10 a.m. for an admissions presentation and student panel in E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall.
Open house provides a way for students and their families to meet with faculty and learn about campus services such as admissions, student life, financial aid, campus housing and dining and more. The student panel gives visitors the chance to hear about academics and what it’s like to be a student at SUNY Plattsburgh.
From 11 a.m. to noon, faculty will be on hand to talk about their programs during break-out sessions. Campus tours give participants the chance to see the college in the vibrancy of autumn.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. students and their families can visit the Supporting Student Success and Academic Fair in the Warren Ballrooms, Angell College Center, where they can learn more about programs and activities.
Students can attend individual financial aid appointments from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the financial aid offices on the 6th floor of Kehoe where they can talk with an adviser, ask questions about financial aid requirements, scholarships and other aid resources. There will also be the opportunity to discuss loans, college payment plans and other ways of paying for college.
Admissions appointments can also be scheduled to talk about academic programs of study, admission and enrollment processes and the next step toward a SUNY Plattsburgh education.
