Fair, Tech Jam Field Trip Among Upcoming Career Events
The School of Business and Economics’ Office of Career Opportunities and Internships will host an internship and career fair Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Warren Ballrooms, Angell College Center.
Broad Street Commons, Campus Dining Services by Chartwells, Peace Corps and Sherwin Williams are among the 58 companies and agencies that will participate in the fair.

For those students questioning their choice of majors, the Career Development Center is sponsoring the program, “Are You in the Right Major?” Thursday, Oct. 19, from 12 to 1 p.m. in Meeting Room 1 in the Angell College Center.
According to Morgan Pellerin, career counselor and presenter of the workshop, the event is designed to help students learn more about their personalities and majors that may be well suited to them.
“Our hope is to attract undeclared students, or students who are considering changing their major, and help them through the process so they can make an informed decision,” Pellerin said.
In addition, the CDC will sponsor a trip to the annual Vermont Tech Jam in Essex Junction, Vt., Friday, Oct. 20 for students interested in the technology industry. Students will have the chance to talk with representatives from companies in the tech industry and attend career related sessions. Transportation will be provided, but seating is limited.
