College to Offer Tours of New Science Building, Forum on Facilities Plans

The public is invited to view SUNY Plattsburgh’s first new building in decades and to learn about future plans for campus facilities.

Tours of the recently opened Hudson Hall Annex – SUNY Plattsburgh’s first new building since the 1970s – will take place every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5. They will depart from the downstairs lobby of the annex.

Meanwhile, the college is sponsoring two informational sessions on the college’s new facilities master plan. These will take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. the same day in the upstairs lobby of the annex and will include a discussion of the new academic building, which will house the computer science program and the School of Business and Economics. Paid for through funds from the State University of New York’s five-year capital fund, the building will go up for bid in May and is scheduled to be completed in July 2012.
