American Marketing Association Hosts Business Etiquette Series
The SUNY Plattsburgh chapter of the American Marketing Association will host its annual Business Etiquette series starting Thursday, Feb. 20.
Each workshop will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus.
Dr. Nancy J. Church, SUNY distinguished service professor of marketing and entrepreneurship, will kick off the series Thursday with a discussion of cocktail party and conversation etiquette in the Alumni Conference Room.
Thursday, Feb. 27, Jerry Kelly, an adjunct lecturer in the college’s management and international business and information systems, will present electronic etiquette in the Amnesty Room.
John Parmelee, lecturer in hotel, restaurant and tourism management, will speak about professional business etiquette Wednesday, March 5, in the Alumni Conference Room.
Finally, Dr. James Csipak, professor of marketing and entrepreneurship, will end the series with a workshop on office manners and emotional intelligence Wednesday, March 12, in the Alumni Conference Room.
This professional business development program is sponsored by the SUNY Plattsburgh President’s Office, College Auxiliary Services, the Alumni Association and the Fitness Center. Refreshments will be served at each session.
