Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity Ordered to Cease All Operations
SUNY Plattsburgh has officially withdrawn recognition of the Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity.
The move was made Thursday after campus judicial proceedings found the fraternity responsible for two violations of the campus code of conduct: disorderly conduct and a failure to comply with sanctions stemming from an earlier incident.
All official fraternal activities had been ordered suspended as of Nov. 26, while Plattsburgh City Police conducted an investigation. Now permission for the group to function and all campus privileges have been completely revoked.
