Admissions Plans New York City, Long Island Welcome to Prospective Students
The Office of Admissions will be sponsoring welcome events for prospective students and their families in New York City at the SUNY Welcome Center and, for the first time, on Long Island.
Individual appointments and group presentations will be held beginning Feb. 19 and be held through the beginning of April in both regions.
Admissions will meet with students at the Nassau County Garden City Starbucks on the following dates and times:
•Monday, Feb 19 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
•Tuesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 22 from 3 to 8 p.m.
•Monday, April 2 from 3 to 8 p.m.
•Tuesday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admissions will meet students at the Suffolk County Bohemia Panera on the following dates and times:
•Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
•Thursday, March 29 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Friday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
•Wednesday, April 4 from 9 to 3 p.m. and Thursday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition, admissions will be at the New York City Welcome Center, 33 West 42nd St., 18th floor, New York, N.Y., on the following dates and times:
•Tuesday, Feb. 20 through Thursday, Feb. 22, all day individual non-EOP appointments, with a NYC presentation being held at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Alumni Commons
•Thursday, March 15, 7 p.m. will be an accepted students reception at Schwarz Theater, SUNY College of Optometry, 33 W. 42nd St., New York City.
•Monday, April 2 through Thursday, April 5, all day individual non-EOP appointments, Office Space with a NYC presentation being held at 6 p.m. April 4 in the Alumni Commons. All students must register for these events ahead of time and bring a valid form of picture ID to attend. Appointment times vary and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
