Accomplished Alumnus and Archaeologist Returns to Speak on Tombs, Mummies and Treasures
SUNY Plattsburgh alumnus Dr. Haagen Klaus will return to campus to present “Tombs, Mummies and Treasures: A Retrospective on 15 Years of Archeological Adventures from SUNY Plattsburgh to South America” from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall.
A 2000 graduate, Klaus is returning as part of the college's Distinguished Visiting Alumni program to speak to share his ideas and accomplishments in the field of archeology with students, faculty, staff and the community. His speech is part of festivities leading up to Homecoming 2012.
