Zumba Class to Raise Money for Alzheimer's
Three area instructors are teaming up to present Zumba for Alzheimer’s Monday, Aug. 6, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Plattsburgh City Beach.
Jessica Coupal, Ashley Cousens and Autumn Love are offering the course in support of the Alzheimer’s Disease Assistance Center and as a kickoff event for the Plattsburgh Alzheimer’s Walk, which will be held Sept. 30 at SUNY Plattsburgh’s Sibley Hall.
The class will cost $5, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Disease Assistance Center. The center provides support for individuals with Alzheimer’s and their families in Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties.
Participants are asked to register that night before the 6:30 p.m. start time.
Attendees can park for free by simply letting the attendant know that they are there for Zumba.
