Youth Swim Program Begins Sept. 9 in Memorial Hall Pool
SUNY Plattsburgh will offer its Saturday morning Youth Learn to Swim program beginning Sept. 9 in Memorial Hall Pool.
The eight-week program is structured to improve swimming skills of children to make them safe in and around the water. Each session is 45 minutes.
To enroll, children must be five years or older, at least 47 inches tall and comfortable in water and be able to go under water. Children enrolled in level 2 will be measured the first class period and tested for comfort in water.
Dates are: Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30; Oct. 14, 21, 28; and Nov. 4. No class Oct. 7.
