Workshop to Address Anxiety in Those on Autism Spectrum
The North Country Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders will present “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety in Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder” Friday, June 10 in the West Side Ballroom, 253 New York Road, Plattsburgh.
Sponsored in part by SUNY Plattsburgh, the conference begins with registration at 8 a.m. and includes presentations Sarah Kern, a clinical assistant professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine and program coordinator of the autism spectrum disorder clinical and research program at the Child Study Center of NYU’s Langone Medical Center. Kern specializes in the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorder.
