Women's Studies Forum Presents Dr. Rothman April 29
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The Women's Studies Forum at the State University of New York College
at Plattsburgh will host Dr. Ellen Rothman, associate director of the Massachusetts
Foundation for the Humanities, on Thursday, April 29 at 12:20 p.m. in the Cardinal
Lounge, Angell College Center.
Rothman will speak on "Art, Politics and Women in the Massachusetts State House." She is a well known scholar and the author of Hearts and Hands: A History of Courtship in America , and the editor of New England Women and Their Families in the 18th and 19th Centuries: Personal Papers, Letters and Diaries .
Established in 1981, the forum is a regular speaker's series sponsored by Women's Studies at Plattsburgh State with support from College Auxiliary Services.
