Women’s Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Jan. 10, 2011) – The Plattsburgh State women’s soccer team has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for their success in the classroom during the 2009-2010 academic year.
The Cardinals earned the 2010 NSCAA College Team Academic Award, marking the second-straight
year the team has been honored. Plattsburgh receives the accolade after maintaining
a 3.42 cumulative grade point average during the 2009-10 school year.
The Cardinals were one of 640 soccer teams across the country (196 men, 444 women) to post a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
