Winter Guitar and Studio Concert Dec. 6
The SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music will present its winter 2017 guitar ensemble and studio concert Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall.
Directed by Michael Fratino, adjunct lecturer of music, the guitar ensemble will perform a variety of classic and contemporary songs.
“The students will play works from a wide range of genres and styles, covering pop, jazz, classical and world musics,” Fratino said. The ensemble will perform works from Radiohead to the Jackson Five, Fratino said. Works by Bach, Monk, Djawadi and others will also be featured.
The concert is free and open to the public.
