Walk to Raise Funds, Awareness for Child-abuse Prevention April 22
The SUNY Plattsburgh Human Development and Family Relations student organization and Phi Upsilon Omicron national honor society will host a child-abuse prevention walk Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena.
Agencies from across the community will be tabling in the field house to provide information to families. Games, activities and raffles for families will be featured. Proceeds will benefit “Prevent Child Abuse New York.”
Admission is $3 for adults. Children are free.
