Visual Artist Series Presentation March 1
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ Gina Bobrowski will be the next presenter in the Visual Artist
Series at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh on Tuesday, March
1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Plattsburgh Room, Angell College Center.
Bobrowski is a ceramic sculptor whose work incorporates found materials, and she uses animal and human imagery to create pieces that have the intensity of dreams. She is a professor at the University of New Mexico. She received her BFA from Louisiana State University and her MFA from the University of Georgia.
Her work has been shown across the United States and in South Korea and Italy. Some of her pieces are also included in collections of the American Craft Museum in New York as well as museums in Missouri, Texas, Wisconsin and South Korea.
