'Video and Discussion' Series Looks at Varied Slate of Topics


Students, faculty, staff and community members interested in topics of science, math, computing, engineering and related social and philosophical issues are invited to attend “Video and Discussion,” a series held Thursdays while classes are in session from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Room 231 Hawkins Hall.

Participants choose topics or particular videos to discuss. Previous topics have included, “Andrew Keen: How to Fix the Future,” “Avian Flu and Tomorrow’s Pandemics,” “Nova: Intelligent Design on Trial,” “Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Moyers on Science, Religion and the Universe.” March 22’s topic is: “Leonard Mlodinov and Deepak Chopra: War of Worldviews.”
