PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The Plattsburgh State Art Museum and senior exhibition class at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh will present the Undergraduate Juried Exhibition 2005, which opens on Saturday, March 5 and continues through Sunday, April 3.

The opening reception will take place Saturday, March 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Lobby Gallery in the Myers Fine Arts Building. Everyone is invited to attend the reception, which is free and open to the public.

The exhibition is organized, juried and installed by the students in the senior exhibition class under the supervision of Edward Brohel, director of the Plattsburgh Art Museum.

"The Undergraduate Juried Exhibition shows the wide variety of mediums and styles that are taught at Plattsburgh State," said Brohel. "More importantly, it exhibits the degree of accomplishment and individualism that students can attain at the College."

The exhibition features works derived from a broad range of studio art disciplines taught at Plattsburgh State including painting, drawing, graphic design, photography, sculpture, ceramics and printmaking.

The Plattsburgh Art Museum and its galleries are open seven days a week, from noon to 4 p.m., except legal holidays.
