Trompe l'oeil Sculptor Next Presenter in Visual Artist Series
Ceramic artist Christopher White will be the third presenter of the Spring 2018 Visual Artist Series Wednesday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Yokum Hall Room 202.
White is a trompe l’oeil sculptor, meaning his pieces are meant to trick the eye. He works mainly with clay and renders it to resemble wood, metal and other objects that are in a deteriorated state.
The Visual Artist Series is organized and hosted by the faculty and students. It brings in artists to give lectures, workshops and demos to the community. The series is free and open to the public.
For more information about the series contact Kimberly Hall-Stone at 518-564-2179 or email [email protected].
