Travers' Nine-Point Week Earns SUNYAC Weekly Lacrosse Honors
Nick Travers of the Plattsburgh State men’s lacrosse team earns his first State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) weekly honors for the week ending April 10 after scoring a combined six goals and three assists against St. Lawrence and Morrisville.
Travers tripled his previous goal total of three to nine after a six-goal week against
St. Lawrence and Morrisville. In an 8-7 overtime loss, three of Travers’ five goals
helped bring Plattsburgh back into a tie against St. Lawrence, including the Cardinals’
seventh goal to send the game to overtime.
On Friday against Morrisville, Travers made it a nine-point week with a goal and
three helpers as the Cardinals defeated the Mustangs, 14-6.
