Todd Lawson to Perform Senior Voice Recital
The SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music will present baritone Todd Lawson in his senior voice recital at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 13, in Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall.
Associate Professor of Music Jo Ellen Miano will accompany the SUNY Plattsburgh student, who plans to graduate in May 2014 with an M.S. in education/special education and a concentration in music.
The program will include selections ranging from opera and musical theater to art songs and contemporary popular music.
Lawson is a native of Lake George, N.Y. For the past three years, he has served as the music director of Minor Adjustments, SUNY Plattsburgh’s a cappella group. He is the former vice president of programs for the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. He performs throughout the North Country with the professional band TNT. His future plans include teaching and continuing to pursue a career in music.
