Three Cardinals Recognized on All-SUNYAC Women's Soccer Teams

Three members of the women’s soccer team have been named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference All-Conference Teams. Lindsey Keyser earned first team honors, while Emily LaLone and Danielle Weimer earned spots on the third team.

Keyser picks up first team honors for the second straight season after appearing in all 16 games this season. The senior from Keeseville, N.Y., was tied for second in team scoring with 10 points on three goals and four assists. The Cardinals’ team captain tallied five of her 10 points against SUNYAC opponents. Keyser finished her four-year career with 17 goals and 12 assists.

LaLone appears on the All-SUNYAC third team, receiving all-conference accolades for the first time in her career. The Watertown, N.Y., native played in all 16 games for Plattsburgh, scoring three goals and two assists from the midfield in her sophomore season.

A senior back from Middletown, N.Y., Weimer is a two-time all-conference player. She was named to the All-SUNYAC Third Team for the second straight season after providing a veteran presence to hold down a Plattsburgh defense that allowed 0.89 goals per game in regular season conference play. Weimer has appeared in 73 games over the course of her four-year career and has scored 11 points.
