Three Cardinals Recognized on All-SUNYAC Women's Soccer Teams
Three members of the women’s soccer team have been named to the State University of
New York Athletic Conference All-Conference Teams. Lindsey Keyser earned first team
honors, while Emily LaLone and Danielle Weimer earned spots on the third team.
Keyser picks up first team honors for the second straight season after appearing in
all 16 games this season. The senior from Keeseville, N.Y., was tied for second in
team scoring with 10 points on three goals and four assists. The Cardinals’ team captain
tallied five of her 10 points against SUNYAC opponents. Keyser finished her four-year
career with 17 goals and 12 assists.
LaLone appears on the All-SUNYAC third team, receiving all-conference accolades for
the first time in her career. The Watertown, N.Y., native played in all 16 games for
Plattsburgh, scoring three goals and two assists from the midfield in her sophomore
season.
A senior back from Middletown, N.Y., Weimer is a two-time all-conference player.
She was named to the All-SUNYAC Third Team for the second straight season after providing
a veteran presence to hold down a Plattsburgh defense that allowed 0.89 goals per
game in regular season conference play. Weimer has appeared in 73 games over the course
of her four-year career and has scored 11 points.
