Symphonic Band to Perform Final Concert of Academic Year
The SUNY Plattsburgh Symphonic Band, under the direction of Daniel Gordon, will perform its final concert of the academic year Tuesday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. in E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium in Hawkins Hall on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus.
The program will consist of works by Frank Erickson, Darius Milhaud, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Vincent Persichetti and Janne Ikonen.
Graduating senior Elizabeth Raner will be the featured soloist, performing Istvan Bogar’s “Szekler Men’s Dance” for solo clarinet and concert wind band.
The concert is free and open to the public.
