SUNY Plattsburgh to Host Emergency Drill
SUNY Plattsburgh will conduct a full-scale emergency training exercise in Beaumont Hall, from 8 a.m. to noon, Friday, Oct. 25.
While officials are trying to keep interruptions to a minimum, those working and taking classes in Beaumont Hall should expect that there will be some.
Actors, made up in an effort to appear wounded, will be taking part in this drill, as will emergency crews. Those crews may, at times, block the Beaumont parking lot. In addition, those helping to stage the event will park behind Redcay Hall, so that lot may be full.
Anyone wanting quick access in and out of campus should find alternate parking.
Space is available in the lot behind Sibley Hall. The parking shuttle leaves from that lot every 15 minutes and stops at various points around campus.
