SUNY Plattsburgh Sinfonia Chamber Ensemble Presents "A Holiday Musical Tour"
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Nov. 26, 2010) – The SUNY Plattsburgh Sinfonia Chamber Ensemble, under the direction of Elizabeth Gorevic, will present “A Holiday Musical Tour” 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6 at Stafford Middle School, on Broad Street in Plattsburgh.
A benefit for Plattsburgh’s Strand Theatre, the hour-long program will include music from the United States and Europe by Bach, Mendelssohn, Handel and Ravel, among others. A special feature of the concert will be a Christmas-carol sing-along. Families are encouraged to attend.
Tickets will be sold at the door. Prices are $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. SUNY Plattsburgh students may attend free of charge by presenting their student identification.
