SUNY Plattsburgh Music Department to Present Free Fall Choral Concert
SUNY Plattsburgh’s College Chorale and Cardinal Singers will present their annual fall Choral Concert under the direction of Jo Ellen Miano, Friday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m., in E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall.
The two ensembles will join together to perform Vivaldi’s “Magnificat” for chorus and soloists. The College Chorale will present a set of mixed choral styles, including an a cappella arrangement of the Beatles tune “I Feel Fine” and pieces by English Renaissance composer Thomas Morley and American composer Lee Hoiby. The Cardinal Singers will perform an arrangement of “Ain’t Misbehavin’” with choreography, as well as a piece by Morley.
