SUNY Plattsburgh Music Department Presents Chamber Ensemble Concerts
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Nov. 15, 2010) – The SUNY Plattsburgh Music Department will present two short concerts featuring the department’s chamber ensembles Tuesday, Nov. 30, and Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall.
The three ensembles that will perform Nov. 30 are the Flute Ensemble, directed by
Robin Cameron-Phillips; the Percussion Ensemble, directed by Gabe Jarrett; and the
Bass Ensemble, directed by Ellen Powell.
The Dec. 1 concert will feature the Clarinet Choir, directed by Janine Scherline;
the Saxophone Ensemble, directed by Todd Pray; the Brass Ensemble, directed by Herm
Matlock; and the String Ensemble, directed by Dr. William Pfaff.
Both concerts are free and open to the public.
