SUNY Plattsburgh College Council to Meet July 28
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (July 26, 2010) – The SUNY Plattsburgh College Council will gather Wednesday, July 28, at 3:30 p.m. at the Valcour Educational Conference Center, Route 9 for a short meeting.
The council will hear brief reports from the various divisions and an update on admissions for fall 2010. Among other items, it will also take action on resolutions commending the following individuals:
* Dr. Alexis Levitin for his promotion to SUNY distinguished professor.
* Dr. Edward Miller for his promotion to SUNY distinguished service professor.
* Drs. Ellen Fitzpatrick, Paul Johnston, F. Daniel Vogt, Thomas Morrissey and Hiroshi Itoh, as well as Jerry Lottie and Janice Gillett for receiving the Chancellor’s Award.
The meeting is open to the public.
