SUNY Plattsburgh College Council to Meet July 26
The SUNY Plattsburgh College Council will conduct its next meeting as part of an annual retreat Friday, July 26, in the Valcour Educational Conference Center, 3712 State Route 9 in Peru.
Open to the public, the meeting will begin at 2:45 p.m.
During the session, the council will consider the following commendations:
- Dr. Mary Roden-Tice on her promotion to SUNY distinguished teaching professor.
- Cori Jackson, Todd Moravec and Lizabeth Woodward, as well as Drs. Dexter Criss, Danielle Garneau, Jessamyn Neuhaus, William Pfaff and Shakuntala Rao on receiving the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence.
- And recently retired employees for their service to the college.
There will also be a discussion of campus governance with representatives from the Faculty Senate and the unions.
