SUNY Plattsburgh College Council to Meet April 26
The SUNY Plattsburgh College Council will hold its next meeting at 1 p.m. April 26, in the Alumni Conference Room, Angell College Center.
During the meeting, there will be a few minutes of silence in honor of long-time member Roger Burke who died earlier this month.
The council will discuss a new use-of-facilities policy for third parties wanting to speak on campus.
They will also consider resolutions honoring the men’s hockey team for winning its 21st State University of New York Athletic Conference championship and Cardinal Points for receiving first place in General Excellence in the Collegiate Division of the New York Press Association 2011 Better Newspaper Contest.
In addition, there will be a focus group session as part of the strategic and academic planning process.
Finally, the council will hear reports on academic, business and student affairs, as well as on facilities, institutional advancement and community and government relations.
The meeting is open to the public.
