SUNY Plattsburgh College Council to Hold Summer Retreat
PLATTSBURGH, NY (August 3, 2007) - The College Council at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh will hold its annual retreat on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 8 and 9 at the Valcour Educational Conference Center, Route 9, south of Plattsburgh.
Following the retreat, the Council will conduct its August meeting on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 11:30 a.m. in 416 Sibley Hall on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus. The meeting is open to the public.
During the meeting, the Council is expected to act on the list of community members for the Plattsburgh College Foundation's general membership for 2007-08, a resolution commending Dr. Jeanne Ryan on her promotion to Distinguished Professor, and dates and times of Council meetings for the 2007-08 academic year.
The Council will also hear reports on enrollment for the fall semester and opening week activities at the College. The first day of classes is Monday, Aug. 27.
