SUNY Plattsburgh ChoralFest Concert to Feature Popular Music, Schubert and Mozart
The SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music presents its annual ChoralFest Concert 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, in the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall.
The College Chorale and Cardinal Singers will combine to perform Schubert’s “Mass in G” and three movements from Mozart’s “Vespers,” with chamber orchestra. In addition, the chorale will present two a cappella pieces: “Come Go with Me,” and an arrangement of the Lennon/McCartney song, “I’ll Follow the Sun.” The Cardinal Singers will perform an a cappella arrangement of the World War II classic song, “I’ll Be Seeing You.”
Tickets, available at the door or in advance at the Angell College Center desk, are $8 general admission; $5 SUNY Plattsburgh faculty, staff, seniors and students; and $2 SUNY Plattsburgh students.
