SUNY Plattsburgh Ceremony to Honor Kent and Jackson State Students
The Student Association at SUNY Plattsburgh will host its annual Kent State and Jackson State Commemorative Ceremony at 12:15 p.m. May 4 around the memorial plaque in front of the Kehoe Administration Building.
The memorial was established as a reminder of the tragic events that took place May
4, 1970, at Kent State University (Ohio), where four students were killed, and at
Jackson State University (Miss.), where another two students were killed 10 days later.
For more information, please call the Student Association office at 518-564-3200.
