Student Poets to Perform from their Works
Students in the SUNY Plattsburgh spoken-word poetry class ENG 379 will perform their original works Thursday, May 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. at 30City, City Hall Place, Plattsburgh.
Sharing their poetry in public is part of the curriculum; this performance caps off
the semester’s experience, according to Dr. Jose Torres-Padilla, English professor
and executive editor of the Saranac Review literary publication.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Department of
English and the Saranac Review. For more information, contact Torres-Padilla at 518-564-2413
or email [email protected].
