Stefanie Braun named SUNYAC Runner of the Week
Stefanie Braun of the women’s cross country team has been named State University of New York Athletic Conference Female Runner of the Week, for the week ending Oct. 30.
Braun grabs her third weekly honor of the year after capturing her first individual crown at the SUNYAC Championships over the weekend. The senior out of Dix Hills, N.Y. finished the 6k course in 22:39, ten seconds ahead of the rest of the pack. Braun’s performance led Plattsburgh to a second place team finish with 53 points – its best finish since 1999.
The Cardinals return to action on Nov. 12 at the NCAA Atlantic Regional hosted by St. Lawrence University.
