Soccer Teams Both Receive NCAA Tournament At-Large Bids
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - SUNY Plattsburgh received word late Sunday night from the respective national committees that the Cardinal men's and women's soccer teams earned NCAA tournament berths. The brackets--a 59-team men's field and 63 for the women--will be unveiled Monday morning. This marks the ninth NCAA appearance and first since 2005 for the men's squad, and the first on the women's side since the Cardinals only appearance in 1995.
This is the first time in school history that both programs made the NCAA tournament in same season.
