Slam Champion Performs as Part of National Poetry Month
The SUNY Plattsburgh Creative Writers Guild will present slam poet Porsha O. April 11 at 7 p.m. in Krinovitz Recital Hal, Hawkins Hall, as part of National Poetry Month.
Porsha O., 2014 Individual World Poetry Slam champion and 2015 National Poetry Slam champion, will perform poetry on social issues such as racism, sexism, homophobia, classism and more. Her poetry touches on problems she faces personally.
The event is free and open to the public.
