Dedicated to bringing a love of classical music to the North Country, Gorevic has taught strings in her private studio in Plattsburgh since 1985. She is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where she majored in violin performance and the humanities. She has served as concertmaster for a number of orchestras including the Cleveland-based Opus One Chamber Orchestra, the Champlain Valley Symphony and Oratorio Society Orchestras.

Before coming to the North Country, Gorevic played first violin in the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, taught at the Cleveland Orchestra and gave solo recitals in Rochester, Cleveland, Atlanta and throughout upstate New York. Currently, she teaches upper strings and directs the Sinfonia as part of Plattsburgh State's growing music department, maintains a private teaching studio with both school-aged students and adult amateur players, directs the Adirondack Youth String Training Orchestra and performs as concertmaster regularly in the area.

Lindgren, a graduate of Plattsburgh High School and a past student of Gorevic's, has achieved many honors. He was principal violist with both the Adirondack Youth Orchestra and the Vermont Youth Orchestra. During his senior year in high school, Lindgren performed the Walton Viola Concerto as soloist with the Vermont Youth Orchestra. That same year he gave his Plattsburgh recital debut, performing major works from the viola repertoire.

He was also selected as principal violist for the New York State NYSSMA Conference All State Orchestra, competing successfully for his seat against the finest students from across the state. He has participated in Cleveland's prestigious Encore School for Strings, the Interlochen Arts Camp and the Aspen Music Festival.

Lindgren is now a student at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester where he studies with virtuoso viola player, John Graham, and serves as principal viola with the Eastman School Symphony Orchestra. He spent last summer touring Italy and Germany with the Eastman-based string quartet.
